Tour Plan

Day 01 Starting Nairobi Hotel/Airport to Amboseli National Park:(250km – 3.5 hours approx.)

Meal Plan: Lunch, Dinner

Make these parks your safari destination for an unforgettable vacation. Just let us know if you have any special requests.

Lady M Safaris will pick you up early morning to begin your journey on the Nairobi/Mombasa Highway. We’ll traverse the rich African countryside teeming with small farms and punctuated with the bright colors of Maasai herders along the way.

Safari

Few parks can guarantee sights of a particular animal – not so at Amboseli. This is the best spot to see free-ranging elephants up close… guaranteed. Framing these regal creatures is the towering backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro. You’ll enjoy Africa’s best views of its snowy peak, weather permitting, in the early morning and late afternoon.

The vegetation can be sparse at Amboseli, but that only offers more opportunities to spot other wildlife in the park like buffalo, wildebeest, impala, hyena, giraffe, and zebra. And you have a good chance of seeing a lion and cheetah.

If birdlife is your fancy, at the park’s marshes and lakes, you’ll be treated to a rich avian display of pelicans, kingfishers, egrets, herons and more.

Overnight

After a full day of game drives, you’ll have dinner at the lodge or tented campground of your choice.

Day 2 relax Full Days Amboseli National Park with game drives

Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, dinner

We’ll be up early for our first game drive followed by breakfast. Then onto a mid-morning game drive. This will be our pattern for the day – eat, relax, go on a game drive. Repeat. Not a bad way to appreciate the wonders of this rich and diverse park.

And if you wish to be even more active – less relaxing time, more game drives – just ask your guide and he will make it happen. At Natural World our goal to create the best safari experience for you.

On your game drives through the park, you may notice a unique pyramid-shaped location – this is Observation Hill, the best elevation for vistas of Amboseli. At the summit, you’ll be able to take in the park’s plains, lakes, and stunning views of Mt. Kilimanjaro.

This is an ideal place to watch the elephants, buffalo and hippo foraging in the marshes below. From here you’ll also enjoy the bright diversity of bird life in the wetlands. Look for pelicans, goose, kingfisher, and egret.

Our visit here at Amboseli also provides an opportunity to meet some of the indigenous people of the area. If you’d like you can take an optional visit to a local Masai village to learn about their lifestyle and culture. Just ask your guide

Overnight

Overnight shall be at your safari lodge/ tented camp.

03 Safari Amboseli National Park to Diani/Mombasa Beach Hotel

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch

It’s an early rise again, and hopefully, the clouds will break at the peak of Kilimanjaro, revealing its snowy crown. Dining at your camp or lodge before a delicious safari breakfast, you can take in the splendor of Africa’s largest peak overlooking the park.

We’ll enjoy one final game drive in Amboseli again looking for the big game and the smaller forms of hyena, fox, monkey, and baboon. The park is a virtual city of wildlife.

But now we’re off, heading to the Kenya coast.

Drop off.

On the way back, we’ll make stops to rest, stretch and have lunch.

As we drive to your resort or hotel, you’ll gaze at the passing countryside, with thoughts of the marvelous animal sightings that have filled the past three days.

By late afternoon or early evening, you will be dropped at your coastal accommodation. We’ve enjoyed having you as our guest and look forward to your next safari with us.
